I were not aware of this concept for a long time and recently made a research and found out that secret ingredient of the secret successors. So, here is my step by step guide to help you on how to use the keyword search tool efficiently and make use of it in your article writing skill to increase your potential earnings and be a successful online money making writer.

Step 1

OK, let us say, you all set ready to write an article about Gardening. You have lots of ideas and tips to share with everyone who loves gardening. But how much sure are you, that people will find your article on top of their search and get benefited?

To make your article on top of the search engines like Google or Yahoo, you should have “Keywords” richly and nicely used in your article every here and there, but not in a way that it looks like you brought a bucket of keywords and dumped it in your hub / article.

Open the Google Adwords Keyword Tool in your browser. Type the keyword “Gardening” in the search phase. I have given you the screen shot to make your work easy. Click on Search button. Now, you are landed in a place full of keywords, your secret for success. The page shows you how much the term is searched globally and how many ads it can attract, etc…

So, got your right keywords. What next?

Step 3

Though you got the bunch of keywords, what is the use if you don’t know which one earns more money for you?

So, in the same Keyword Tool, click on the column button (shown in the red circle) and select the “Estimated Average CPC”. CPC means Cost Per Click. Your article will earn more money for you if you have those Keywords with high CPC. You got it right. Even after getting Keywords, you can sort them in the order of earnings and choose from the list.

You can even try various other keywords related to your article. Let us take the same example of Gardening. So, you can check the Keywords like flowers, Rose gardens, simple gardens, removing weeds from garden, etc... and find their corresponding CPC, the advertisers competitions to pay for it and the amount of searches these keywords can bring. Depending upon the results, you can select the keywords that can match your article.

Step 4

Time for your article. Just pen down all your thoughts. Forget about the keyword and just write casually. Once when completed, it is time for review and adding up of keywords in your article.

OK, check out the places wherever you have used the word “it”, instead of “Gardening”. Do you find a term like “It is a refreshing work”? Then change it as “Gardening is a refreshing work”. Wow, you are doing fantastic. Just replace all other possible places of useless words with earning keywords. Done.
